Give credit please!

I've never had problems with picture thieves before. As you know, we went to a truck&car show over the weekend, I took 300+ pictures (which would have been more if there had been models there). This "like" page on facebook proceeds to steal one of my pictures. Not a "we have similar pictures" thing, no this is -my- picture just cropped. Same image in the picture, same angle, same blurriness, same reflection in the bg of the image. So when Boyfriend brings it up to the page, and asks for credit for the picture. They proceed to block him from the page, HOW RUDE!
So after discussing putting a watermark on all the pictures from now on.... Boyfriend... who didn't take ANY of the pictures, didn't do any of the walking with me, didn't do any of the squatting and leaning for angles, didn't do any of the work....wants the watermark to have his and my FB addresses on the pictures. Why? Is what I want to know. Why should HE get credit for the pictures? Why should he even have a say in the watermark that I put on MY pictures that I take? Maybe I'm making too big of a deal about it, but that just sounds like to me that WE both put in EQUAL effort in the pictures... which "we" didn't.

Horror Movies

A bit of a rant....

I quite enjoy horror movies, love them in fact, I have tons of horror movies that I've missed out on watching. Boyfriend does not, he'd rather they not even be mentioned. So I have to watch them with him asleep, despite the fact that we don't have a place in a living room for me to watch them so he can sleep. Even with the TV turned down, the speech is soft, the sound effects are loud (normal for scary movies).
Let's put it this way: It's my TV, it's my XBOX, it's my Netflix, it's my bedroom.

Mini Truckin' Girls

What is Mini Truckin', you're most likely asking yourself...

(This is not -my- truck. Truck belongs to Michele Russell out of FoN GA.)

My truck does not look this awesome, due to the fact that I have -no- money, but of course you get the point. This is what we do, the same thing as the guys. I really don't know how to explain it to someone who doesn't know. We build, drag, and show. I've met very few mini trucker girls, and I know why...

I had never been at the receiving end of "girlfriend/wife" attitude on the car scene before, ever. I've never been a giving of the attitude before either. Saturday morning, sick to my stomach and making a pit stop at a local truck stop/gas station before starting my route. I notice there are some trucks at the pumps, so I walk over and I'm checking them out. Cool, right? Because I keep hearing about this "Mini trucker family atmosphere," right? Well it's not cool to the club chapter president's girlfriend (Of 2 months, I later found out Saturday afternoon), who proceeds to say loudly and rudely "What's -she- looking at?" Obviously the mini trucks here, and the lower full size. But, Cortnye's no fool, as I'm looking around I notice club stickers on all of the trucks. Granted, I love the look of this clubs' stickers. Girlfriends and wives in my opinion have no right to have attitude to someone checking out their boyfriend's trucks/cars, if she's -really- that good...he won't leave her. So I go on about my business, then get on with work, the morning goes by and we get to the car show and get set up.... As a huge cosmic joke, trucks start parking around us...what do I see???? -That- clubs' logo. Well played, Universe. Boyfriend starts talking to the NC chapter VP of that club, once he shows up. Later on in the afternoon, the VP has done some detective work, and tells Boyfriend that the girl had also called me a Lot Lizard (A truck stop hooker), which they seem to be worried that will piss me off. Honestly, I find it hilarious that me, who was wearing sweatpants and a big hoodie, with my nappy wavy hair had intimidated her so much. Anywho, a few members of the club apologize to Boyfriend and I about the incident, none of them knew that I found it more gratifying that she looked like a dumb ass in front of all those people. For multiple reasons:
1. Insulting another minitrucker.
2. Insulting another minitrucker's girlfriend.
3. Insulting another club's member.
4. Insulting another club's president's girlfriend.
5. Insulting another club's vice president.

Good job, sweetheart.
Girlfriends and wives like YOU are the reason its so hard for girls like ME to get into the scene!

I wish there were more mini trucker girls! Especially in my area!!! <3

1st post

Yaaay first blog... I don't really want to break yall in with an opening rant. >.>

Let's try an introduction:
My name's Cortnye, I'm 25 currently. I've always lacked a lot of confidence in everything that I do, even the simplest things like walking in heels... something every woman should be able to do. And when I say I can't do it, it's not that I "don't like to," I literally can't. I will fall, and I will get hurt. And all the way up to larger things like having confidence in myself to pursue my life goals.
There are bad things that happen to me as a child, there have been bad people in my life. I tend to not trust those close to me.
I've grown up in multiple small towns, in the same general area though, in NC. Life in small town Christian politics is always hard for those who don't follow the allotted faith. How exactly I came into my Wiccan faith is a story for another time, if you choose to hear it. That story was something I shared with only the people I thought were my friends, it made it farther than that as friendships fell apart and people felt it unnecessary to keep my secrets anymore.
I married a few years back, that didn't work out, 90% of the time I don't think that I tried hard enough. I understand marriage is a 2 way street, but I'll address this issue more another time also..
I  moved to Washington, probably the best decision I ever made in my life.... followed by the dumbest of moving back to NC. >.<
I guess that is enough for now... perhaps I'll post a more solid thought later today.
